About Us
- Burt and Christy Michel
- Covington, Louisiana, United States
- Burt and I were married in Nov. 2002. We couldnt wait to add to our family. We have a son Shawn who is now 14. We went through fertility treatments to get pregnant . After a year of trying it finally happened. Drake Alexander Michel arrived Feb. 18 2008. At our 20 week ultrasound we found out that he had a devistating birth defect. A Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia. There is no known cause for this. On April 6, 2008, Drake sadly grew his wings. He was only 7 weeks old. Celia Grace Michel is due to arrive on July 7, 2009.We found out we were pregnant on my b-day and we are due on burts. Please follow this new and exciting chapter with us. We will keep you updated on our little one.

Hello I just wanted to pop out and say hello. My daughter Ava was born with cdh in 2006 so I know your anxiety. I will be saying prayers for you both. The nursery is just adorable! Let me know if you ever need to chat.
